i finished up mulching the veggie garden, planted jessica’s herb containers and a hot-pepper  container garden for me just before a nice, but too short, rain.  i don’t remember the last time it rained, but i know it’s been weeks.  i love the smell of the dust settling down…and of course the plants prefer God’s precipitation as opposed to the gardener’s.

how to take pictures of rain…i tried catching ripples in the birdbath and under the gutters, but finally decided on raindrops on hydrangeas…
