what a very fun week-end we had with olivia’s birthday party on saturday, and mothers’ day sunday.  we threw in a little extra excitement when we formally joined concordia (where i began playing the organ 25 years ago).  after we’d stood up in front to say “I do, with the help of God” a couple of times, olivia asked “did we get married?”  well, sort of…

the birthday party was a big hit with all of the guests, but the birthday girl was just thrilled:
